The camera speed can be increased by features incorporated as a region of interest (ROI) and programmable modification of the resolution. The camera also has Global Shutter for image correction at high speed and can be supplied with telecentric optics to focus image stabilization. Additionally the HSDP-1 camera features programmable hardware with ability to perform image processing in real time. Among the hardware capabilities include the detection and identification of edges, real-time 3D reconstruction, forms recognition and tracking, and the ability to include numerical calculations and geographical position.
